ABOUT

My Story

Daniel was born in Wolayta to a hardworking family—his father was a weaver and his mother a housemaid. Hoping to provide him with a better future, his parents allowed him to move to Addis Ababa with neighbors who promised education and care. Sadly, Daniel was exploited, forced into sweatshop labor, and cut off from school. He eventually escaped and survived alone on the streets, facing hunger and addiction. In 2013, Hold My Hand Charity found him and gave him a second chance. Through consistent care, emotional support, and education, Daniel began to heal and grow into a compassionate and inspiring leader.
