Hold My Hand is a legally registered Ethiopian charity organization, founded in 2014 by three university students who saw the growing crisis of homeless youth in Addis Ababa. What started as a weekend support group in 2013 has grown into a full-scale shelter and support system for at-risk children.

Yosef joined Hold My Hand Charity 12 years ago as a young boy with a bright smile, but little stability or support. He came from a background of poverty and limited opportunity, where his future was uncertain and his dreams far from reach.
Daniel
Daniel was living on the streets as a young boy, vulnerable, alone, and without direction. Life was a constant struggle for food, safety, and hope. He had no access to education or structured care, and his talent for football had no chance to grow.
Addis Birhanu
For over 10 years, Addis Birhanu was more than just a cook at Hold My Hand—she was the second mother to hundreds of children. With every meal she served, she poured out love, dignity, and hope to those who had known only struggle.
